This gathering will be a casual encounter with your peers, getting to know your fellow Christos alumni! Bring a beverage of your choice to our Zoom gathering. Our hour together will center around a topic or general question. Alumni Virtual Happy Hours take place the second Tuesday of each month, from 5-6 pm CT. Event is free.

The topic for January 2026 is “Holding Hope in Winter: The Director’s Inner Life During Dormant Seasons.” Reflecting on God’s work beneath the surface—in nature and in the soul.

A quiet exploration of the hidden work of God during life’s “winter” periods. We’ll reflect on how the natural world mirrors the soul’s seasons of rest, stillness, and seeming inactivity, and we’ll consider how spiritual directors can hold hope and trust in God’s beneath-the-surface movements—both in themselves and in those they accompany.
