For more than ten years, Jeannette Bakke and Brian Norsman shared a friendship shaped by prayer, spiritual companionship, and the sacred journey of walking together through life's joys and her journey through declining health.
Like so many others, during those years Brian was blessed to receive hundreds of text messages from Jeannette. They were far more than words. They became little blessings, gentle prayers, and holy invitations—often accompanied by butterfly, leaf, sunshine, flower, and heart emojis—simple reminders to notice God's presence, receive grace, and rest in the lavish love of God.
Dedicated to Jeannette's memory and inspired by her quiet ministry of encouragement, this contemplative retreat invites us to slow down and enter a sacred rhythm of Notice. Linger. Receive. Through Scripture, silence, guided reflection, prayer, and time in creation, we will awaken to God's holy invitations, linger where grace is found, and receive the lavish love of God already holding us.
Come prepared to receive God's holy invitations and discover that, even in the ordinary moments of life, you are already held in the lavish love of God.
